Lac Courte Oreilles New Post Park

Summary

The Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa have proposed a brand new community park located in New Post, WI. The master plan of this New Post Community Park project is split into three phases. Phase one includes a basketball court (currently under construction) and children’s playground on the north end. Phase two and three will include a pavilion with some walking paths that lead to a volleyball court on the south end of the site. Meyer Group was involved in Project Management, Architecture, Bidding and Construction Administration both of the projects. Initial ceremonies and dedication Pow Wow were held on June 2013. Work included new Drum Arbors, Calling Stands, Seating Areas, Sod and Landscaping.
