Ironwood Carnegie Library – Addition

Project
Summary

Meyer Group was hired by Ironwood Carnegie Library to provide full architectural design services for an approximately 1,000 square foot addition to the Ironwood Carnegie Library in Ironwood, Michigan.  Major design elements include separation from the main building by a breezeway/walk in a manner acceptable to historic renovation standards as this library was placed on the Historic Register in 2011.  The addition design considers detailed information on the library site and anticipated traffic patterns for easy access to the addition.  The addition creates flexible space that can be used for the Ironwood Carnegie Library children's collection and/or programming.
