Lincoln Park Pavilion

Project
Summary

The Lincoln Park Pavilion received a much needed upgrade. Funded through a National Park Service grant and the City of Duluth’s half-and-half tax initiative, Meyer Group Architecture had the privilege of assisting in the Lincoln Park Pavilion Restoration. The pavilion itself suffered fire damage in 2014 as the result of arson and spent years awaiting funding to proceed with repairs. Meyer Group Architecture addressed concerns of accessibility at the structure and renovated the existing public restrooms in coordination with SHPO. In 2024, the Duluth Preservation Alliance recognized the project’s efforts and awarded the City of Duluth with the 2024 Preservation Award.
